Rightpoint identified the existing Care.com App’s mix of mobile web and native iOS code as a potential problem. Rightpoint started again from scratch and built a brand new native Care.com iPhone application, making sure the existing features remained intact.
Rightpoint developers focused on providing a specific mobile experience using the example of a family seeking a carer. Care.com App users were then asked to specify what they need, when they need it, and their budget.
As a result, the Care.com App is now intuitive to use and engaging, which has led to more meaningful connections and carers. Rather than go offline, users found comfort in connecting in a whole new way.
The new Care.com App by Rightpoint earned a 4.5 star rating—a remarkable improvement over the 1.5 rating for the previous version. The new Care.com App also brought more transactions between parties onto the Care.com platform, increasing revenue.
